I am installing a new water pump in my '95 Ram 4x4 with the 360, what is the procedure (putting in new antifreeze) to finish the installation once I have the new pump in place??

 

You should fill it up with antifreeze all the way and then run the engine, (which will let it run through all the hoses). You will have to top it off (20 quarts or 5 gal total) once your done because the level will go way down. -hanes 3-7

 

woah----5 gallons. You might be able to squeeze 2 gallons in if you totally drain the cooling system. Just fill the rad and overflow with 50/50 mix of coolant and run the engine for about 5 min, make sure everything is still topped off and your done. Pretty easy job-about a 3 on the 1-10 scale of backyard jobs.
