What do you think would be the cheapest mod that could make a fairly good performance boost. I have a 98 Ram 1500, 5.2 litre

from what i've read the best cheapest mods would be a kn filter kit and some free flowing exhaust.

Try out the throttle body spacer. I found one on ebay for bout 50. I put it on my 01 5.9 and it gave it a bit of a boost on throttle response and the low end torque. My gas hog also went on a tiny diet.
