new guy here. 01 Ram 4X4 Sport. Tranny acting funny, late shifts, a little clunk when she goes from R to D and P. Common? got 70K on it.

 

Check the fluid level
Any codes???
It's possible you might just need an input speed sensor and a u-joint
but .... your going to need a good scan tool to get some CVI (clutch Volume Index) readings to start!!!
I'd head for a shop before you need a tow truck!!!

 

thanks, ill take it to the dealer .. see if they can check it out for me.... i also have a rough idle...feel a vibration on the cab when sitting still...rev it up past 1000 rpm and it runs smooth...also i hear a slight high pitch tapping coming from the top....lifters?
