I was wondering if I could but a 16" rim on my dodge that has factory 17" 5 lug rims, maybe from a earlier model dodge. Is this possible and if not does anyone have any suggestions for me to downsize to smaller rim without modification ????

If it is a new body style 1500, i dont think so. They have Independant Front Suspension (IFS)

 

Ramit is correct, the 16's should not fit.
