im planing on getting new tires soon. i was wondering what a good offroad tire would be. and also what size should i get. Im not planning to take it off road a lot and when i do it wont be too aggressive. I have a 98 ram 1500 4 by 4. I also would like to keep the price range down. I know thats kind a picky but thanks.

 

Im running 285/70R17 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A's. Price was $200 a piece at walmart. They surprised me on how quiet they are. One popluar set is the BFGoodrich All-Terains. Run about the same price. If you are going to air down the tires for some rock crawling or aggressive off-roading, you need to make sure that the sidewalls are 3-ply.
