Default Taillights and dashlights not working after trailer light install

I recently added a trailer light harness on my 2001 1500 ext cab truck. I trailered a car home and then noticed that the taillights and dash lights no longer work. Headlights ,turn signals, brake lights all work. Any ideas. I tried a new switch already too. Please help!!

Any blown fuses? How about a bad ground? Are the lights totally out, flickering or really dim?

Well now don't I feel like a dumb ***. I did NOT in fact check all of the fuses. I forgot about the ones under the hood in the relay panel. Sure enough the parking lamp fuse was blown!!
