I'm looking for an exhaust system. Any suggestions?

try flowmaster's super 40 series muffler with a custom built exhaust usually 2.5" to 3" diameter. if you want a bolt on exhaust try gibson. they have cat back systems and also headers. also look into edelbrock's new headers.

I asked my dealer about an exhaust because they do a lot of them on trucks. They quoted me $600, but I'm not sure what brand or how elaborate a system it is. I told them that was too much. I think I can get a cat-back Flowmaster with some custom pipe for 1/2 that.

How much hp gain can be expected from a system like that?
How much if I get headers??
Price for the headers?

my setup is the the super 40 with two exit pipes each 2.5" straight to the back with stainless tips. i'm not sure the horsepower but i noticed great sound and low end power. i'm pretty sure at least 10 hp. the edelbrock headers haven't been released yet as far as i'm concerned but they state 25-30hp and 25-30 ft.lbs. of torque. moper muscle magazine tested them on a 04 hemi ram and it made about 10 hp to the rear wheels and 13 ft.lbs of torque which sounds about right. i think the headers will cost aroung 500 or so dollars, my cat back was 300.
