Default 360 Air Intakez... Choosing between 2 versions. Help

I am going to purchase an intake for my truck, but 360 Air Intakez has 2 versions. Prices for the 2 kits are similar. I am leaning towards the Power shot, what do you think? Opinons, comments, suggestions. Thanks

I pick the Power Shot too... amongst all the reasons, I think it just looks cooler!

Make sure you tell them you are from DF, you get a discount...

Have you ever checked out the AIRRAM intake. Alot of people have used it and have been happy with it. I have one on order myself.

May not look at pretty as the polished chrome but it may give you more performance.

Either will work, I just got my 360 Air Intake and Joe hooked me up. I would do the one with the heat shield. I had mine ceramic coated also.

Have you ever looked at this website - Intense Performance

Bill White of the "DiRT" list sent me to him. I felt he had resonable price and fast delivery. I have been very pleased with his setup and the ceramic coated intake looks nice under the hood.

Thanks for the help. Aside from looking better [8D] does the power shot intake cone setup have an advantage over the stock box (kool shot kit) Then again for ~$150 I shouldnt be picky

I would imagine a little more airflow. I want the power shot for my truck.

The powershot's cone filter has more filtering area and is less restrictive than the flat panel filter within the stock enclosure. This is less restrictive.
The "downside" of the exposed cone filter is the exposure to the elements.

In no time, your filter will be covered in bugs and sand/dust . You'll need to clean and re-oil it more frequently. I know first hand about a dirty cone filter / CAI I built using the S&B air filter.

The "upside" to the koolshot is that the filter is protected (as the original Dodge design engineers intended). This prolongs the life of the filter (less cleaning/re-oiling sessions) and is cheaper on your wallet.

The performance difference between the two is within a few horsepower of each other. It's up to you to decide which you prefer.
