swapping out 3.9 for V8
question for those in the know.
my son has a 1500 with a 3.9 and NV3500 and is curious what all would be necessary to swap in a 5.2
(I can't say the tranny would be worthy behind the 5.9, but think for moderate use should hold up within reason behind a 5.2, but...)
what all would be necessary?
(irt to engine management and wiring harness, clutch etc)
any help would be greatly appreciated.
