Transmission Problem I Think?
98 Dodge Ram PU 360 4x4
I think this is a transmission problem. Feels like tranny is slipping out of gear while driving. Happens mostly at about 45 Mph. Engine will shoot up about 500RPM and then immediately back down. Also happens when I hit a bump in the road. I had the tranny serviced and was told the fluid was burned. They replaced filter and fluid and the truck was a lot better for a few months. Now it is getting worse again. Do I need a new tranny or is this something I can have repaired?
