It's a weird question, I know. I am looking for a CB antenna mount for my Jeep, and I found that firestik makes a mount specifically for the Dodge Dakota/Ram hood that looks very much like what I would need for my Jeep.



What I need to find out is how much of a drop there is from where that would bolt onto the side of the truck down to where the hood closes (if that makes any sense). The vertical drop between these two arrows:



If that drop is similar to the drop on my jeep, I'll be able to use that bracket to mount the CB.
