Default 03 Ram Brake update?

I recently purchased a used Ram (which I absolutely love) and have a shake in the steering wheel when braking and a slight pulsing in the pedal. I scanned the forum for a couple of hours today and found a TSB for the brakes. I addressed the problem with the dealer and they didn't hint in any warranty direction when talking about this. The TSB has small print implying that this will be a warrantied problem. I have 21,000 miles on the truck. If anyone has been through this and had it fixed under warranty or not under warranty, please respond. Thanks

I know of 4 Ram 03 owners who had this problem at 5k & again at 10k & had them fixed under warranty. I am a new ram QC 4X4 owner (1 week) & looked thru 85 pages on this forum (which is great)expecting to read many reports of this problem. SURPRISE, i didnt find 1 report.

I've also got vibration when applying the brakes at high speeds. Does anyone have a link for the TSB?

The TSB # is 05-008-03 and is date Nov 28, 2003. I will be bringing this with me to the dealer tomorrow, I was just hoping to have as much information as possible before going. The dealers in CA sometimes seem to not want to do anything for free.

You don't need the copy-the dealer has it. We have access to every TSB ever released. The dealer has no reason to not want to fix your truck. We warranty brakes on the rams and Jeep Grand Cherokees all day long. They know what is wrong and will fix it free as long as you have are less than 3yr/36K miles.

dodgemech, I just found a TSB on a window stripping that may scratch aftermarket window tint. Do you know anything about that.

Thanks for the link. My truck has been doing it ever since I got it and I just thought the wheels needed to be aligned.

Haven't seen that one yet but it wouldn't suprise me. That is a tricky situation because technically aftermarket window tint on side windows in most states is illeagal anyway. I have scrathed them trying to replace window regulators with aftermarket tint and are tracks and guides run very close to the glass.
