Equalize or beef-up?

Equalize or beef-up?
I have a 2002 Ram with a 5.9L. My travel trailer is supposed to weigh about 3500lbs dry and have 375lbs of tongue weight. I just read my manual (again) and noticed that for tongue weights over 350lbs - you are supposed to have "trailer sway control and an equlizing hitch".
I also have 2x30lb LPG bottles and 3 RV batteries a bit further back on the A-frame. This may increase the weight up to 400-450lbs.
The trailer does not sway on the highway - but the rig is quite bouncy.
I can get a complete air lift kit for under $700CDN installed with taxes (http://www.airliftcompany.com/) lifetime warranty - 2,000lbs.
Would this give me the suspension I need to handle this slightly too-high tonque weight?
I also would be like to put up to 2,000 lbs in the box (occasionally - and not while towing the trailer!).
Any advice would be appreciated.

RE: Equalize or beef-up?
I don't really think you have anything to worry about--I towed a trailer with my old 97 RAM 1500, 360cid, class IV hitch for over 80,000 miles (actual towing). The tongue weight of the trailer was around 450, and loaded it was up to 10,000 lbs. The trailer dealer suggested that I get an equalizing hitch, but said I could get by without it.
If anything, I would suggest getting some rear "helper springs" (jc whintey, etc) to help w/the rear end sag, but overall, you should be fine towing that trailer.
