i took my truck to the dealer and low and behold to my surprise i saw a solar yellow ram quad cab, 04 model. i wish i knew about it before i bought my silver one

 

Nice color isn't it? I group that with the colors I like to call "Notice Me Colors"... Bright Blue, Yellow, Red, etc...

Red and yellow look sweet but attract attention from the fuzz!

 

I have a Rumble-Bee. Was told that the Bee is the only truck dodge made in Solar Yellow (or what I call, "ticket me Yellow"). Guess they were wrong. [sm=smiley19.gif] I was also told that there was only 3700 of em made. That make twice they were wrong. Oh-well, I Love the truck. Don't have the same feelings for the DC. Oh well. It is a beautiful color. I had to accessorize. I have the Nextel i530 (yellow) phone, the yellow and black steering wheel cover, yellow and black trash bag, got a solar yellow blanket for taking the wife to watch the submarine races. I looking at luggage in Black with yellow inserts, yellow pens (Pilot GX-300) and other goodies. YUP,,,, life is good.

 

Only if you're doing something silly or dangerous. What gets my attention are numerous lane changes and frequent brake lights......[&:]

 

Not to add insult to injury about the number of Rumble Bee's.....I work at a dealer and we've had 5 or 6 of them...Just got one in this morning, it's a 2005 Model. Looked at the dash Plaque it's number 0076 of the "Second Swarm." I remember when we got our first Rumble Bee....it was the only one we were suppose to get.

 

This color does turn heads. I have an 04 SLT 1500 Hemi in solar yellow. Every where I go it attracts attention(especially from black and whites). This is a color that stands out in a crowd.

 

I here ya - I traded in my graphite to get the yellow - I also had to call around to about 10 different dealerships in dallas - only 2 had one and only one was willing to deal on it.
