Those have been out for some time and for many vehicles. Personally, I think it's BS. It supposedly tricks the computer into thinking that colder air is being drawn in than what it actually is.

I also think it's BS, especially with Mopar PCM... they relearn certain settings... I bet that wouldn't give 20HP to begin with and quickly be uselss when the PCM relearns the setting. I wouldn't waste the money... if it's that cheap, it's not going to help... that's my opinion.

I was sure the HP gain was BS, and believe me... I wasn't going to pay 8-10 bucks for a 50 cent resistor... you were right about that one. I just didn't know if anyone had heard (or tried) of this "simple" mod as he put it. I am planning on exhausting my truck, and ramair-ing it as well.

Yeah, those magic chips are nothing but a capacitor and a couple of wires...I read the feedbacks on eBay about them......several people actually opened the device to see what was inside and got very upset when they saw what it was....you're wise to save your $$$$
