Does anyone have any comments on Syn vs regular oil is it worth all the extra cash

This has been discussed before so you might look at some of the older posts however i cant remember the thread heading it was under. Just use mobil 1 and u should not have probs, but not worth it if u are not keep ur truck for a long time. IMO

 

Mobil 1! from my own experience, Mobil 1 is the way to go.

 

And if that isn't enough answer for ya, you can click search and see what was said about this the first 70 TIMES IT WAS ASKED!!!!!!!! Or click at the bottom ang go two pages into the forum and see it twice there.

I'm taking the easy way out. I'll be brand neutral and just say synthetic is the way to go.[sm=smiley20.gif]

 

I've used mobil 1 in the last 3 new vehicles I've bought - ALL of which have made it over 175K miles. One went over 260K and never had a engine related problem.
