I need more capacity to tow my boat than an F150 can deliver. I have had 2 F150's and been happy with them but am attracted to the Dodge Ram 2500 Quad as a solution to my problem. Ride and handling seem to be negative relative issues raised by some commentators. Any thoughts? I test drove one last week and quite liked it. This truck will see some off-road use. How else do you get to the best fishin holes?

Diesel? Maybe. Certainly I am attracted to the torque such option provides me. But I work on eastern hours while residing on the West Coast. Diesel motors make for strained residential relationships at 5:00 AM. I am going to drive one. Do you own one?

I test drove a 2500 Diesel a wile back. It's much smoother and quieter than I expeced. They also don't require the long idle warm up that used to be needed to make them run well. It was ready to run as soon as we pulled off the lot.
