Check this out. This morning when I got off of work a guy parked next to me asked if my alarm was hooked up to the horn because it kept blowing. I thought he was screwing around with me. I got home and was chillin' out for a minute when my new baby proceded to wake up the neighborhood with about a 3 second blast from the horn. A few minutes went by and yet a again, the horn blows. I finally pulled the fuse and left it at that. Any ideas on what little gremlin could be causing this?[>:]

I thought about that while I was at work, but it did it at home too. It has the factory keyless entry and that's it, no aftermarket alarm...yet (remote start and remote power windows going on this weekend
). I've removed the battery cables and looked everywhere in the manual thinking it could have something to do with the keyless entry system or something...nothing there. My truck is two weeks old and the gremlins are already showing up [&o]

It will stop if you press it, the problem is that it keeps doing it. If you do nothing, the horn will stop by itself after a few seconds. Sometimes it's like 2 or 3 seconds, others it's like a small tap on the steering wheel. No one around the remote and nothing around the truck...the horn just goes off.

LOL! It is kind of funny, but at the same time what could be causing this? I guess it's off to the dealership I go [sm=smiley13.gif]

That's exactly what's happening. I found that out today with a little trouble shooting. I don't understand why it's doing it though. I've had the truck for about 2 weeks and have did nothing to it except change the exhaust and tint the windows. Any suggestions on how to fix it or am I going to have to deal with my sh!tty local dealership? And instead of the horn blowing for a split second, now it's just staying on. I'm getting a bad taste in my mouth with this truck already[:@]
