I am averaging 17 mpg with a 6 inch lift and 35's. That is 70% Highway. But each tank I get better gas milage as my Diesel breaks in. I only have 1800 miles so far. On my first tank I only got 10 mpg. Next was 14 mpg and it just keeps getting better.

After spending $700 getting the entire fuel system cleaned and the plenum seal replaced, plus a new cat converter, and only gaining 1/2 mpg from 15 to 15.5 on the interstate with the cruise control on at 70, I'm now convinced that anyone claiming 17-22 in a Dodge must have a CHEVY pulling it!

IF I were in my teens or 20s, and stayed in it all the time it would make sense but I'm a 51 year old professional who drives this thing on the job, not to impress the ladies or anyone else.

My old 01 Ram Quad Cab with the 5.9L Magnum was horrible. I could not get better than 13 mpg all HWY. That truck drove me nuts.

Took my first longish highway trip in my 04 QC HEMI. It's only just turned 2,000 miles. I have 20" wheels (35psi cold) and 3.92 rear.
In the truck was myself, the wife, the kid, two LARGS dogs and about 250lbs worth of camping gear, luggage and kid's stuff.
I have no cap or bed cover and went about 200 miles with the cruise controll set at around 78mph. Had the headlights on, A/C cranking and it was 95*F.

Average for the trip was 17.5mpg.
Not great but not terrible. It would have been higher if I was only going 65mph or so, but most of the speed limits here in GA are 70mph, so I was around 2200rpm the entire time.
