At 27k my 2002 SLT started to hesitate and miss... the next morning i take it to the shop to find out that my tansmission is shot.. Thank God for warranties.
Is this a common occurance with the 2002's ( 5.9 Magnum). If so i am going to trade it in for an '04. Cus i need a hemi tooo

 

if i'm right i think my friend had a problem just like ur let me ask him and see wut he saids

Anyone else with some Info on these '02's???

 

I started having alot of slipping especially after coming to a stop and trying to pull out. It is like it would stick in 3 rd and not downshift so it was slipping real bat then it would upshif to 2nd and not go into 3 rd. I took it to my local Dodge dealer and they did a tranny service changing the fluids and filter, it did it again the next day but has not done it since and that has been over a week.
