Tune up info on 2000 Ram
I'm gonna do a performance tune up on my Ram and just needed some help so I know I'm getting the right stuff. I wanted to get new plugs, wires, and anything else you guys suggest. I was thinking of getting some NGK V-power plugs and the MSD wires. But I don't know which ones to get (on www.summitracing.com) because there are a few selections but they aren't very specific. I have a 2000 Ram 1500 SLT Laramie with the 5.9L V8 in it. Any help is much appreciated.
And what else should I get other than the plugs and wires?

Ok, there are a lot of selections becuase there are different size gaps and so on. Idk off the top of my head but if you check under the hood on the stickers it says what size gap you need.
You are also going to have to replace, PCV valve, rotor, cap, oil change, battery terminals if they are bad, air filter if needed. Clean your throttle body and all the connections to it.
Theres more stuff, I just named a few that I can think of right now.
Hope this helped.
Mike.
