I have a 2006 dodge ram mega cab 1500 with about 3500 miles on it. The speedometer gets stuck while accelerating and then when decellerating it will stop at about 10 mph. It doesn't do it all the time though. Also front speaker interference every now and then. Unfortunately the shop won't know what it is unless it does it while they have the truck. Any ideas?

 

Just left the shop. Turns out the instrument cluster is bad so they need to replace it. This is a problem they have seen before. I will have my truck back in a couple days. They have to take the cluster out and mail it to Dodge and get a new one in return to install.

They did in fact give me a free loaner. Actually another 06 ram mega cab 4x4. I couldn't ask for a better dealer. This is my first Dodge and won't be my last mainly because of the service. I hope I don't need them again anytime soon though..
