Default A/C problem

hey all, I have a 1998 ram with the 318.

Whenever my motor is under any lug (low rpm) or im hitting the gas hard (high rpm, getting on the highway) my A/C stops comming out of the dash vents and comes out of the defrost vents. What could be causing this and how do I fix it?

Thanks. [sm=smiley1.gif]

Sounds like a Vacume leak to me
The system will default to Defrost when there's no vacume
Check the vacume line to the cruise servo under the battery, that's the most common failure
Let me know it that helps
