Default Bad Oil pump or sensor

I have a 99 Ram V8 mag. The oil pressure gague keeps dropping to zero, then pops back up to normal. May stay low from 1 second to 10 minutes. But the weird thing is I can turn off the engine re-start it and it does ok for about another 10 minutes then starts the cycle again.

Is the oil pump or sensor hard to change....my problem is I now live in south america and there are not any dodge dealerships here.

I'd lean towards the oil sensor... it's easy to change. And I would guess would be the culprit over the pump.

LMK if you want a price and all... Iknow a dealer and my fiancee is a parts guy so I could get them to mail it to you... if that's something you'd need... Just an offer. LOL!

Thanks for the reply, but I ended up finding a dodge place and they replaced the oil pressure sensor, but it is still acting up.
