Default Need muffler

I found out i need a new muffler, its shot, it moves when I close the door lol. My mechanic said it is a flowmaster and that I need to go to their site and get one and he'll put it on. I have dual exhaust from the muffler back but the flowmaster site doesn't show them, do i have to special order them or where can i find them on the site

yeah you've got a pretty standard single in dual out style muffler, just jump on flowmaster or go to your local muffler shop, they can oder them, sometimes cheaper.

I'd recommend finding out the inlet/outlet sizes on your existing muffler & going to Summit Racing (www.summitracing.com) and order it through them. They are very resonable & fast delivery (well at least for me anyway... the warehouse is close).

another thought... flowmasters are pretty solid mufflers, maybe you don't need one but need some new piping instead. Take it to a muffler shop and ask them if the muffler is shot or just the plumbing.

an earlier post had it right. Summit racing has the best pricing unless you are running the 40 series. Then you can go to e-bay and they have em as low as 39.95. I get mine from performance peddler on e-bay.
