I'm in the military and transferred to the Virginia Beach area recently...someone mentioned they heard VA was going to charge some kind of emission tax on all trucks.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I know up in Northern Va, they have emission testing, didnt hear anything about a tax. But it wouldnt surprise me, as they tax just about everything in the Commonwealth anyways.
BTW you asked in a previous thread where I bought my truck, I got it good at Hall Va Beach Dodge. Mike

Are you happy with Hall Dodge? I've been to 3 dealers in this area: Green Gifford, Greenbrier, and Hall. I liked the folks at Hall the best. Green Gifford didn't impress me...in fact, they pissed me off, which was sad because they were the only ones who had a Power Wagon. I've heard a lot of (bad) things about Greenbrier. My wife just got a Durango from there and they're full of excuses and don't seem to be well organized...the only thing going for them is they seem to have a good selection of 2500 4wd mega-cab diesels...
