I am thinking of getting some stock 20 inch wheels for my hemi. I noticed that the chrome ones appear to have a plastic cap over the entire face of an aluminium wheel and this cap is chromed. You can feel the plastic by reachinginaround one of the spokes and feeling its edge.Is this correct? Has anyone had problems with them? I think I'm going to get them anyway....they look great!</P>

You are correct....it's a plastic cap over the wheel. I just upgraded my stock 17" chrome steel wheels to these 20" chrome clad wheels. They look great, clean super easy, won't corrode or get crappy looking....I didn't even realize that it was a "plastichrome" cap until one of the guys at one of our tire stores showed it to me as he was putting them on.</P>


I think that they look fantastic....</P>
