well my grandpa has a 95 ram 2wd and i think its either 5.9 or 4.7 but if its 5.9 i want to go offroading in it.

so i want to turn this 2wd into a 4wd truck and i was wondering how is this done and what kits am i going to have to get. (please post a link.)
and also what would be a good lift for one of these cause i know that they are pretty low to the ground.(please post a link for this too.)

 

to be honest with you, you need to start with a 4wd. you can by 95 rams 4wd for around $2000. the cost to turn a 2wd into a 4wd would be more than $2000. and very labor intensive.

 

plus, they did not make the 4.7's back then... it would be either a 5.2 or 5.9
