I have a 2001 dodge ram quad cab.. with the infinty system. I cut the wires right at the fron speakers and than ran new speakers wires directly to my new head unit ( I had no use for the facotry amp) I used a wiring harness adaptor and just ground, power, and ignitoin wire and direct wired the speakers to my headunit. Did i do something wrong because my headunit won't come on and it's really ticking me off Also, there was another plug in there that had two wires, i think white and black and blue and black(not sure on the colors) Does anyone have any idea what they go to?

well, my only suggestion would be to go visit the 2nd gen ram forum and go to the Dodge info thread that is tacked to the top of the forum... in there is a reference to a merry christmas thread which has a link to download the manual. should help with what wire is what on the ram side of things. you should be able to figure it out from that...
