MODS!!
Hey everyone I'm starting to do mods on my 95 ram 1500 I was lookin for some feedback. all I've done so far is a Ravin' Muffler which I must say is AWSOME. I noticed a little change in the low end and as for the sound dear g*d its nice its a beautiful deep rumble at idle when its reved up you can FEEL it. I wanna do headers, and an air intake next. want are some of the best brands I can use I hear many different things from my friends and still have no idea which brand is the best for new headers and an air intake. <edited><editID>95dodgedemon</editID><editDate>37975.7508912037</editDate></edited>
well...i just put a set of flowtech headers on my '99 1500 and i love them. the advertised gain was about 18hp and increased low end tourqe, and i can honestly say that i notice a difference. theyare pretty cheap as far as headers go and you can order them at www.summitracing.com </P>
as far as intake, k&n is the best. its a little more expensive than some others, but well worth it. volant also makes a good intake, but i would go for the k&n.</P>
just my humble opinions.</P>

I just put Edelbrock Ceramic Shorty Headers on my girl. She purrs like a kitten and MOVES FASTER than ever before! I totally notice a hugedifferance.
I also have a K&N FilterCharger System on my truck, I prefer K&N over all... it's moer, but it LASTS!!

DO NOT GET AEM!!! K&N is top choice followed by 360 and intenseperformance.</P>

As for headers, PPH and Mopar are the best unless you can find a set of MESSA. but they are all bank breakers!! Edelbrocks are good...and Flow tech is a good valued header as well!!</P>
Dodgefreak, Just curious on what you have heard about the AEM that you say dont get it? All I have seen and heard is good things and the dyno graphs showed to be as good as K&N. I have the K&N but just wondering what you have heard on AEM?
