Hi, i just purchased a 1500 quad cab 4x2 so i guess i registor in this forum.

my truck comes with the infinity system with steering wheel volume control. Now my question is how do i add a mp3 player inconjunction to the OE cd/casset player, reason is i really like the steering wheel volume control and dont take out the OE player

anyone have a suggestion for me?

i work in car audio and its best if you replace the radio. you can retain the steering wheel controls with adaptors and they look pretty good with a dash kit. but if you realy like the stock radio go to Circuit city and ask for an FM Modulator. It plugs in behind the radio in the antenna feed and allows RCA hookups to your MP3 player. it needs to be installed . they work pretty darn well the exact model number is an Audiovox FMM100A and it 49.99. you will also need antenna adaptors which will run about 25 bucks. they do have wireless modulators which are cheaper but they suck so dont waste your time or money
