I have a 2005 4.7,ram1500, 4x4. when the truck sits over night or for a certian amout of time the trans will not go into drive or reverse, I have to let the truck sit a few minutes after it start then it will go into gear.
any help would be great.

 

this is what the dealer found. there is TSB out for this year truck, that one of the trans filters was draining the torque converter. dealer Tsb # 21-55-02-93-zz-0.9
