qusetion from a newbie. Just sold my 5.2 jeep with 180k, and bought a '01 Ram 1500 w/5.9. Gas milage is not so good. I want to put a K&N conical filter on, as I had on my 5.2. Any suggestions on a an adapter or base to use? The stock air box doesn't look like it will make for an easy transition? Or should I put a conventional round base with lid and filter? I am going to put Mobil One oil in, as well as a Flowmaster 40 . My old jeep got 18 mpg highway, the motor in new truck only has 60 k, so I hope to improve my highway mpg. Thank you, C
