Hi!

I'm from austria (please excuse me for my bad english) and just imported a Dodge Ram (Mod. 2004) 5,9l Cummins-Turbodiesel.

The problem ist - there's only one service partner for Dodge in Austria an he told me the following service intervals:

1st oilchange - at 1000 km
2nd oilchange - at 7000 km
3rd oilchange - at 12000 km
and than an oilchange every 12000 km

Is that true??

Please help me!! [>:] I drive aproximate 60000 km every year and this service partner whats about 350 USD per Service - it's O.K. if it's nesceserry but I suppose my service partner only whats to make some money

Noone any idea about how often I have to change oil in my 5,9 Cummins??
