hey there, i just looked at a '97 Dually Diesel that ran excellent, looked good, and shifted well....the only downside is it has 310K miles on it. i'm positive thy were all highway miles since it was a BArrel Racer's truck here in texas. how much further can i count on the engine going?

I know that the engine shop said 250 thousand for my dad's diesel van, but it is the '88 7.3l, which has a poor reputation. I have heard 400 thousand for Cummings, but don't quote me.
