Install of Bull bar issue
Bought a Land Master Bull bar to help keep my wife (never needed one on my previous 2wd's, only one wife :> ) from slowly destroying my front end in parking lot bumps into concrete posts. This is on a 1500 2wd.
Anyway I got one at a good price from Land Master for 2002 to 2004 for 1500's. Mine is the 2004 worktruck. Step 1 is remove front end factory tow hooks. I have no front end tow hooks to remove. Then they go on to remove the "center bumper filler". I don't have a hydraulic lift to get a good look at the clips which seem to be holding it in place.
Anyone have a 2004 worktruck and familar with how the "center bumper filler" can be removed.
I hopefully what I see is the frame bolts they want the bar attached to but need to remove the bumper filler properly in case I run into a alignment issue and have to reinstall it.
help/suggestions on how it is held in place/how to remove properly?

RE: Install of Bull bar issue
Using a trim stick C-4755 or equivalent, carefully
release the six lower clips and remove the close
out panel.
This is straight out of the maintenance manual. Looks like it is held in by 6 push on clips. You can go to any auto parts place and get a trim removal tool. Hope this helps
