Default 4+4 shake

I have a 2006Ram 1500 4+4 . The problemis when you put the truck in 4w hi and accelerate fairlyaggressivley or justaccelerate pulling a trialer (snowmobile trailer) the truck shutters . I've taken it back to the dealermany times with no change, now they tell me all of the 06-07 do this. it's a problem the enginers are working on . Sounds like BS is it does anyone else now of this problem?

It sounds like your on a road surface that does not require the use of 4x4.
Independent front suspension on a 4x4 will shimmy under a high load condition. (ie: too much power with too much traction)
On a good traction surface with too much power applied the toe-in on an independent front suspension will increase and cause a shimmy. (see the attached vidio for extream example)

Why not to buy a Duramax

It is a fairly common issue... how fast are you going when you do this?

It will do it from a dead stop all the way up to highway speed, the more load (pulling something or going up steeper grades) the more pronounced, smoothes out with lighter throttle.
