Default Tilt Steering quirk

Tell me if this has happened to any of you guys.

Ill be driving along and my turn signals will stop working, Or only one will work. At this time I also lose the ability to turn my windshield wipers on, and my brights dont work.
It's only happened 4 times in the year Iv'e had my 03 hemi offroad. When it happens I have to tilt my steering wheel all the way up and down a couple of times to get it to go away. I use my tilt everytime I get in and out of my truck. Is this something to worry about?

Default RE: Tilt Steering quirk

i can't be positive but what it sounds like to me is the wires were bent back and forth so much inside the casing the wires themselves broke and unless you tilt the wheel a certain way the connections aren't maintained. i don't know a whole lot about cars but i had something along the same lines happen with other wires when ive played with them more then i should have. i wouldn't know how to go about fixing it though id think you'd have to replace the actual wires to each thing. but id wait for someone who knows a bit more to answer before running out to do what i suggested just in case im wrong or there is a cheaper way to fix it
