I have a habit of always walking around and just doing an over view of my vehicles to see
any thing out of the ordinary. I found during my scan, on my 20" rims around the air valve
I see cracks that all around each valve (4), has anybody else experienced the same problem?
I am going to check with the dealer to see if this is normal or covered by warrenty. I only have
11K on these tires. Size is 285/50/20. Not sure if these sizes are put on any of the other Hemis
but, this is what came on the Hemi GTX Rams. Any help or suggestions out? Whatever I findout
from the dealer, I'll post later.

 

I've never seen those size tires on a Ram...all the ones I've seen have either 275/60/20 Wrangler HP's, or 275/55/20 Eagle LS.

Doubt they would be covered, but if they have cracks, thats not safe to drive on. Good luck at the dealership!!

Is it possible its just the chrome flaking off??

 

Spoke with the Service Manager and they said they'd take care of it. They never seen it before either. Drop it off to them and will pick up today. There were questions, but since it was on all four wheels, they decided to just replace the valve stems.

 

Oh, I thought the cracks were on the rims, not the valve stems. Valve stems are a cheap and easy swap for them, glad it all worked out for ya.
