Should I????
Should I get my truck out of impound, will cost me $650 total.
1982 Dodge Ram W150 4x4 360, 727, 208, 44/9.25. Reg cab. Holes in the floor board, no heat, no air. Needs a new windshield. The bed is loaded with landfill crap.Weighing alot. $150 to unload that crap at the dump. $500 for the tix.
It already has a winch bumper on the front. Which would cost me like another $150-$250 to get one. I have been 50/50 on this. Because for an extra $350 I can get a $1k rig. I know it totally depends what shape the truck is in. It has a ton of dents, needs a paint (I got my reasons
) Or should I just see what I can get it in the impound auction. Which I wouldnt mind checking out anyway, and see what they have, see what I can bid on my own truck. They have no clue if it starts or not. And I know whats wrong with it. TC is pooched. I dunno, any ideas?
This forum is kinda biased I would admit. But I seriously dont mind what brand my truck is. I just want to start wrenching on my rig, building it up to be a solid rig. And I prefer old school rigs. The less electronics the better for me. Perhaps I should look for a Chevrolet pre 80's, someone told me in another forum. Because their parts are way more interchangable. Who knows, I used to own a heep, I dont mind full size jeeps.

Aight Im getting it out. Tires alone are worth 2-300 easy, bumper worth 150. Plus its a stout 3 spd 727, and I need the truck to work on the rigs. Can beat the stock d44 front either. Time to drop some cash on this beast.
