Dodge Sprinter ECM / VSS Wiring Information
We have a 06 Dodge Sprinter that we are attempting to install an onboard computer / data logger on for delivery purposes. We have come up with a road block however when it comes to wiring it up to the ECM. There are 3 peices of information that I have been unable to figure out:
1.) The location and color of the vehicle speed sensor wire
2.) The number of pulses per 1/10 of a mile that the vehicle speed sensor sends to the ECM
3.) The location and color of the tachometer signal wire
The first two are needed to properly calibrate the speed of the vehicle so it can issue speeding citations to drivers, the third is needed to determine if the driver is over reving the engine. We have a shop repair manual and I have spent a large portion of time finding this information, but have been unable to. Is anyone familiar with any of this?
