I have a 2006 Dodge Sprinter 3500. I use this vehicle as a delivery vehicle, today I discovered that the water pump is more than likely going out. Leaking at the front of the vehicle etc..(air conditioner not running). Anyway my question is my low-coolant level indicator light came on, so I promptly headed to the nearest auto parts store. They told me that the sprinter takes a certain kind of anti-freeze that they do not carry but that I could use the universal prestone on my vehicle to get me by until I get it in for service.

I had a busy day ahead of me so I did it, so is this true will I be alright since it only was for a about 40 miles of driving and I'll be dropping it off in the morning at the dealership.
