2003 Dodge Sprinter 2500 series vibrates
Hello, I have 2003 Dodge Sprinter 2500 series WB 140, I have an issue when I drive the van between 40-50 mph it vibrates then when I drive at 60mph it drives fine. Also when I ease the gas pedal of the van it will vibrates making some weird noise. Does anyone what the issue can be, any feedback would help Thank You..!!
It sounds like you have a carrier bearing going out in the driveline. I would certainly confirm to make sure this is not the cause before continued driving, It can make quite a mess if it goes out completely doing engine, trans, differential, underbody damage. Not sure if you have a split driveline or not, but I would check that area first (driveline/carrier bearing)
I am pretty sure our 140 has the split drive line, and yeah if that ever broke loose under full power?

Search Rumble strip noise. And search for the DARF repair kit to solve the issue. It is very important to use the correct mercedes ATF fluid, latest version is MB 236.14. Fluid level is extremely critical, and the window is only 6.5 ounces. VERY NARROW. Check at proper temp range for best accuracy. You will need to purchase the correct dip stick to measure. Try europarts for sprinters. It is possible that the tranny is not the issue, but RSN is very well documented and very common.
