I did a quick search however cant seem to find my answers.

I have an 05 Sprinter that only came with front speakers. We are wanting to add rear speakers in the van. I am able to run the speaker wire, however looking at the OEM wire harness, there are no cables or tabs in the place that the left and right rear speakers would connect to.

Does anyone know what will need to be done to add this? Will I need to replace the harness, or is there a way to open it and add the tabs/cable into the harness?

Any information would be helpful.

If you find anything out, let me know. We're trying to do the same thing. I took it to a audio place which said I can get boxes made and put behind the front seats, or under the back seats. Neither really seems like a good option. One, my husband is in a wheelchair so floor space up front is not available. Two, it seems that speakers under the back seat would sound a bit crappy in that van. Maybe that's just me.

Wouldn't it be possible to get small speakers to install on the ceiling? We're not looking for some high output bass pumping system. Just something that the kids can hear the music without having the driver be blasted out.
