Speed control (cruise control) drops out above 48 mph
06 Dodge Sprinter. After three trips to the not so local Mercedes dealership we have confirmed that the wheels (tone rings) are all reporting correctly, the break switch and multi function switch (cruise control, turn signal, etc) both are working as they should. There are also no error codes. Tires are also correct. Past that the dealership said they had no way to diagnose the problem because when Daimler/Chrysler split up Chrysler got all the diagnostic equipment and information. They suggested that I contact Dodge.
It is frustrating to have cc on the vehicle and not be able to use it at highway speeds. It works fine from 25 to 48 mph which is not much help.
Anyone have any insight of this, or where I might try next?
