I was just wondering when you blow a engine is there a possibility of frying the computer,relays.a person before me blown a engine and replaced it with a newer dohc with the difference of the crank shaft and camshaft sensor on the pulley side of the engine.i already hooked them up to my main cam sensor but they tried starting it and playing with it without having or nowing them sensors were there,could that fry anything because theres no spark but power to the coil pack.iv also looked at the computer and theres a crack in a big chip wich cant be good.any ideas would help.thanks

 

The crack in a chip isn't good. That in itself could be your problem. There has to be some custom wiring for the later cam/crank sensors to be used with the earlier combined unit. I don't know offhand what needs changed. Search Stealth316.com, I think there is a write up there.
