Default 92 Stealth R/T TT engine

I love my car (when it's running)!! Bought car in '96 used from a dealer. (I didn't realize just how much it was used!!) First engine, water pump went out and a domino effect happened. Mechanic got a used engine and that has stopped running. Rather than finding out why the engine isn't running, I'm torn between trying to get it fixed orselling it. If I fix it, I want a remanufactured engine in it. (I don't even trust rebuilt engines at this point.) Having trouble finding a remanufactured engine to put in and I'm NOT a mechanic! And YES!! Girls DO drive Stealths! All advice taken under consideration. What would you do???[sm=confused06.gif]

Well there a few ways to go about this...1: the easiest way would to get a crate motor and have someone put it in for you..(need to find a reputable mechanic) 2: have a reputablemechanic take out the one you have and rebuild it from top to bottom i.e. new pistons, rings, bearings, turn the crank if need be theres alot of stuff involved or 3: get it to a shop to actually figure out the extent of the problem. If your lucky you could live close enough to some mechanically inclined person on this forum and they could be willing to come take at look at her(the car).

Grooms engines remanufacture the 6g72 engines, they are a cheaper than a new OEM engine.

Of course girls drive Stealths, I bought both of mine from girls.

http://www.groomsengines.com/grooms.html I didn't see the 6g72 engine listed on their site, but at one time they were rebuilding them.
