does anyone know the best way to remove an alternator from a 1995 dodge stealth-3.0 liter-v6-sohc-automatic trans..

 

Take out the radiator, the driverside tire and the cover underneath that protecs the engine. Google search it and it has a complete directions and photos

 

I was able to remove my alternator without removing the radiator. I just removed the fan on that side. I'd place a piece of cardboard against the radiator so you don't bang up the fins. It takes some manuevering, but it can be done. Everything else T4 said is pretty much right on. Remove the wheel, the plastic cladding, and start unbolting stuff. The dude is talking about a sohc , NOT a dohc, there is a difference, The SOHC the alternator is inthe back of the enge, and the DOHC THE ALTERNATOR the front, for SOHCyou DO NOT HAVE TO PULL THE RADIATOR

To remove alternator from 1995 dodge stealth sohc you need to remove the coil and throttle cable guide from the intake manifold. Then remove the heat shield from the exaust manifold this will give you just enough room to pull it out through the top. The fun part will be putting it back in. I just finished removing mine and hope this helps someone so they won't have to pay some random dodge mechanic 18 dollars for an answer.
