Hey I was wondering on how to remove the wiring on the wing so I can take it off with out cutting the brake light

It's a piece of cake.

Remove the screws that hold the cargo cover open on the botton side of the hatch. Take a putty knife or screw driver and gently pry the plastic cover off. This will expose the wiper motor, wiring harness/clip and wing bolts. Unhook the wiring harness going to the center light. Use a deep well 10mm socket and short extension and remove the 5 (I think) bolts holding the wing on. Close the hatch, gently pop the wing free as there are a couple plastic pins also holding the wing on. When you get the wing free, work the rubber grommet around the wires out of the hole....and you are done.

Why are you removing the banana? Are you trying to make your car look like a Ford Probe?

I just wanted to see on how it would look with out it its red but Im not planing to sell it or anything

But thx for the tip cuz i did all off that and when i got to the wire it seemed like it wouldnt come off

EDIT: i just reread your post and see that you already took it off. You can buy a 3kgt hatch with 3kgt wing if you don't like the look of banana.

 

dang man...you could have saved me some typing if you would have said you just needed help getting the rubber grommet out of the hatch.
