Default electrical problum

me and my friend went 2 carowinds and when we got there after a 2 hour drive, my brake light, battery light and radiator light came on, on the dash. but they would only come on when the carwas under 2000 rpms, when we had it over 2000 they would go away. the battery gage was also on twelve and then 8, i think something could be draining it buti dont know what ? could someone please help me ? thanks...

The same thing happened to me a ways back. Does the car sputter then die when you come to a stop? Does putting the car in neutral, and revving the engine keep it from sputtering? Do the inexpesive stuff first. As strange as it may sound, try gettting new battery cable terminals. Check to see if they are corroded or if corrosion is built up on the battery terminals. I replaced mine and the problem went away. No more dash lighting up like an xmas tree. If that doesn't solve it, try the battery and new cables. Hope that gives you somewhere to start.

The fuse you are talking about is held in with bolts, it does not just pull out. I'm guessing there is either a problem with your battery or alternator.
